Paige Houden stars in the Jim Beam women’s Surf-Tag event

It might not have been a NSB Team but, the Manly All Star team created history placing 2nd in the first ever women’s surf-tag event at Curl Curl and it had a real NSB favour with Paige Houden staring for her side.
The talented natural-footer footer was one of the standouts of the day piecing together a series of solid scores as her side carved their way into the final and once into the final she again put together an awesome display of contest surfing with her side in great touch behind a outstanding Narrabeen side.

Also making an appearance in the side was Jess Horin who did well after a long stint out of the competition arena. The girls picked up $800 for their event and really it was great to see a Manly side in the event.
A stoked Paige spoke saying,
‘’ It was great to get 2nd as all the girls surfed well during the day. Really it was an opportunity to get together in a fun atmosphere and to win some cash just topped off a good day out.
‘’Hopefully next year we can do it all again ‘’
It was the only time you will ever see both NSB and QBC surfers in team together and really it was great for them as they all had a great time in the testing waves.

Go get them lady’s great job.
